Membership may take the form of any one of the three following categories in accordance with the Rules (Constitution) of the Association and is available to management employees of Golf Clubs, District associations affiliated to NZ Golf and also to Golf Course-owning companies (resort style courses):
A person who is a Manager or Secretary/Manager or other paid employee of a:-
A person who has previously been an Ordinary Member but who is no longer employed in a position that would qualify him/her to be an Ordinary Member.
On the recommendation of the National Executive a person who is considered to have rendered outstanding service to the Association over a long period may be elected a Life Member by General Meeting of Members.
Applicants for categories 1 & 2 may apply Online under the Application button and provided they meet the criteria above, membership is automatic - there is no formal nomination process. An annual subscription is payable against invoice to the National secretariat. There is usually also a regional branch subscription applicable for those that attend regional meetings.
It is recommended that intended applicants attend a regional meeting of one of the four branches to obtain a flavour for the benefits of membership and values of the Association prior to formally joining.
