Jason Koenigsfeld – Snr Vice President Club Management of America Organisational Schizophrenia Organizational Schizophrenia has been characterized by distortions in thinking, perception, emotions, language, sense of self or behavior. Organizational Schizophrenia is rampant in clubs and is impeding clubs from focusing on and obtaining their core values and strategic goals. More and more club managers and team members report broken communication between the club President to the Club Manager and from Club Managers to the team members. Not only is communication suffering in clubs but more importantly the messages conveyed by the club’s leadership is leading to confusion, stifled initiative, erratic and unpredictable team behavior and operating practices drifting away from policy. This sixty-minute session will define how and when organizational schizophrenia occurs and how managers can work to eliminate it in their clubs. . |
